Can Vinegar Clean Your Toilet?

Vinegar Tip #6

Toilet: Pour 1 cup of Vinegar into the toilet bowl and let sit overnight before scrubbing. This removes hard-water deposits.

Verdict: I do not have hard-water but I tried this anyways. Even with regular cleaners I always have a stain at the very bottom (the trap) of the toilet. I poured the vinegar in right before bed. In the morning I woke up and scrubbed it. The stain I have is still there. It did clean the toilet. However, Lysol toilet cleaner is better.
