I saw a post on pinterest that was a bracelet made out of aluminum can tabs so I decided to make my own. It was super easy and a great project for kids. It actually came out really trendy too.
First I collected some aluminum can tabs, it helped that we had some men over working on our roof and we bought them sodas to drink. Otherwise I usually don't buy can sodas. Then you find a piece of ribbon. My daughter had left a piece of orange ribbon laying around for who knows how long. The ribbon was about 1/2" thick.
All you do is thread the ribbon through the tabs however you like it and tie the ends together. Because my ribbon was somewhat thick the area that I tied it stuck out some, but I really liked that effect. The pictures unfortunately do not do it justice.
